The word Padma is sanskrit for lotus, a stunning flower that has much symbolism in South Asian religions.  It is also a beautiful name for a woman.  We thought these bags are so gorgeous it would be apt to name them after such a symbol of divine beauty.

 

These bags are made from vintage Indian embroidered garments and repurposed into large totes. There is a zippered colsure to keep your belongings safe and also an internal pocket to keep small items such as keys or your phone. They look equally good on the beach with a bikini, or in the city with an edgy leather jacket. Each side has a different design (pictured) so you can choose which side you want facing out depending on your outfit.
