Our protagonist left home at 14. He’d heard of places like London but had never been off of a small island in Scotland. His parents owned a farm and he herded their sheep with his dogs. He’d lie in their fields with those sheep and those dogs and he’d follow the clouds with his eyes and wish he could sail along with those clouds over and past the island to more exotic realms. His chance came when the war broke out. He packed his meagre belongings into a small sac, gave his parents a kiss each and the dogs a pat each, and left that island. What you’ll find here are the treasures he found on the adventures he’d so passionately dreamt of.
